Monster Mash Bash

Grand Island, Neb. — The Grand Island Public Library invites families to a night of frightful fun and festive celebration during the annual Monster Mash Bash on Tuesday, October 28 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

The event is specially designed for elementary-aged children but welcomes the entire family to take part in a lively evening of Halloween-themed activities, crafts and entertainment. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in costume and take part in a variety of interactive activities throughout the library. The event will feature a spooky scavenger hunt, a family-friendly dance floor, craft stations where kids can make their own Halloween creations, and plenty of snacks to enjoy. Those feeling particularly brave are invited to step inside the library’s Haunted House, a highlight of the evening that promises just the right amount of spooky fun.

The Monster Mash Bash is one of many programs the Grand Island Public Library offers to foster learning, creativity and community connection throughout the year. From early literacy programs and STEM workshops to book clubs, author visits and cultural events, the library serves as a hub for education and engagement for residents of all ages.

The Grand Island Public Library proudly serves both residents of the City of Grand Island and Hall County. Anyone who lives in or owns property within Hall County is eligible to apply for a library card free of charge. With a library card, patrons can access a wide range of digital resources, including eBooks, audiobooks, online learning platforms and streaming services in addition to the library’s extensive physical collection.
