This is our updated Platte Generating Station Control Console. It was installed in fall of 1995. The new control system is a Distributed Control System (DCS) Bailey Infi90 system. Operators can view plant conditions and change control settings from six, windows based, individual operator stations.   The new system enables operators to control the power generation process better so that efficiency is increased, and emissions are reduced, thus saving money for our customers in Grand Island.
