Photos from the past with the City of Grand Island Water, Light and Ice Department

	At one time the City sold electric lights and appliances.  Click on photos to view 1600 x 1200 size.
	City of Grand Island's first power plant in 1906.
	An early Republic Motor Truck used by the City Light and Water Department.  Our guess is that the photo is from the late 1910's to early 1920's.  The Republic Motor Truck Company lasted from 1916 to 1932.
