Shown above is the Grand Island Utilities Department Service Center. The Service Center houses the Overhead Line Division, the Underground Construction/Maintenance Divisions, and the Warehousing/ Purchasing Divisions. The Grand Island Utilities Department Service Center is located at 1110 W. North Front Street. Please do not call the Service Center to report an outage or if you have any other problem. Instead, contact the Phelps Control Center at 385-5465.

Location: The Grand Island Utilities Department's Service houses the Overhead Line Division, the Underground Division and the Warehousing and Purchasing Divisions of GIUD. The center occupies one cull block and is located at 1110 W. North Front Street, or about two blocks north of the City Library on West Second Street. Normal working hours at the center is 8 AM to 12 noon and 1 PM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, except holidays. If you plan to visit anyone at the service center, please call ahead to make arrangements.
