	Shown to the left is Burdick Steam Unit 2 turbine - generator. Unit 2 has a capacity of 22 megawatts and was placed into service in 1963.  Unit 2 has an operating steam pressure of 850 PSI at 900 degrees Fahrenheit.
	The control room for the steam units at Burdick Station feature analog control systems. From right to center are the boiler controls for unit 1. From center to left are the controls for unit 2 and well field at the Platte River. Operators man Burdick Station 24 hours a day - 7 days a week.
